I'm Rebekah,
I live here in Lakewood with my husband Logan and love doing all things outdoors: camping, biking, hiking, rock climbing, and going to the swim beach at Big Soda Lake! I have spent my career working with, and advocating for, individuals in the disability community here in Colorado.
My background drives my desire to make sure that everyone has a voice in shaping local government and in what we want our neighborhoods and city to be.
I deeply believe we need more leaders in local government from professions that put people first— leaders who approach every individual and issue with nonjudgement, are willing to listen and make decisions with empathy and compassion, and who consider all voices in our community. We need local government to work for ALL of its citizens and neighborhoods, and I believe that my background uniquely qualifies me to do that effectively.
